ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW BASES

     PMSA has the plan to establish the new Bases. initially PMSA Base Keti Bandar will be established on priority. the basic requirment for establishing the base have been surveyed and the approval for the funds are in process. Later PMSA will establish its bases on Shah Bandar and Somiani as well.

     PMSA is providing bengin services like SAR Salvage, Pre and Post disaster relief to coastal community particularly the fisherman at harbour and at sea. To perform these tasks PMSA Coastal Bases frequently interact with local fisherman. PMSA Coastal Bases have intoduce PMSA, its policing and bengin roles to fisherman during the interaction session. Fisherman has raised their problems like operation of banned nets, completion of official documents etc. The fisherman community was ensured that will help them in solving the problems.
