    Director General PMSA Rear Adm. Zafar Mahmood Abbasi SI(M) was invited . as the Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker at the graduation ceremony of class 11-2 comprising 41 students from 12 countries. The ceremony was held on 11 March 2011 at the U.S. Naval Small Craft Instructions and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS) located in Stennis Space Centre, Mississippi, USA. NAVSCIATTS has trained more than 6,000 students from over 55 partner nations so far. Through this training and military exercises conducted with its allies, the U.S. Navy is building partner nation capabilities and capacity and enhancing maritime security worldwide. Students from PMSA are also undergoing training at this institute and hence strengthening the relations of the country with the rest of the world's maritime organizations.
