Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) is responsible for the regulation and protection of the maritime interests of Pakistan and to assert and enforce national jurisdiction and sovereignty in the Maritime Zones. PMSA, since its inception, despite limited resources is constantly endeavoring to be operationally prepared to undertake Protection of Exclusive Economic Zone, Search and Rescue/Relief operations in the area as allocated by International Maritime Organization, Disaster Management at sea, Marine Environmental Protection, Protection of our Fishermen, Regulations of Deep Sea Fishing Policy and Anti Smuggling /Narcotics Operations.

Clearly, it is essential for all officers and men in PMSA to remain current in their respective professions and specializations and to be informed of the changes brought about in tactics and laws/conventions/agreements. Only thus we can achieve higher levels of performance.
