MSS INDUS

MSS INDUS was commissioned on 1^st July 2002 to provide administrative and logistics support to HQs MSA and all other units of MSA.  This Unit is an important asset of Maritime Security Agency whose officers and men have always shown their commitment to achieve highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. 

ROLES AND FUNCTIONS 

These are as follows:

·    MSA Warehouse the logistic department of the unit, meets the spares and supportability requirements of all MSA Units/vessels

·    Looking after Operations/ maintenance of MSA transport

· Providing all possible repair/maintenance facilities of electrical/mechanical and electronic equipment to all MSA units through Base Workshop 

·     Availability of Shipwright Shop to facilitate all MSA units

·    Maintain safe custody and arrange auction of confiscated fishing nets

·    Maintain and provide financial support to MSA Units.
